AGOT CK2 MOD LAUNCHING WINDOWED PATCH
The Beta patch announcement sounds like an ad hoc work detail for technical troubleshooters and not for the likes of people like me. Or I drive a car but I am not a mechanic. The equivalent is to say I watch television but I do not repair TVs. By doing it this way one is forced to copy any needed files, thus avoiding messing up one's CK2. To do this we will be creating a new mod directory within CK2's mod folder found in the Documents folder (AKA 'My Documents' in Windows XP). Should work as with every CK2 mod (outside the Workshop), but i haven't played AGOT in ages. This guide will help you, potential Crusader Kings II modder, to setup your mod so that it is possible to load it into the game from the CK2 launcher. The folder and file you need will be in it. Unpacking might create another folder with the nameof the mod. I do not like to stress about technical issues. Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings 2/mod. And there has been more than enough time for the product to be working in satisfactory condition (again, not including the recent DLC I do not have). I expect that for the money paid, the product be satisfactory. I have had this game for 3 weeks, without the latest DLC. The patch release reads to me more like a call for testers of “dangerous code” for a “far more serious” problem than first understood. And, while I scrape by on my computer saving up to buy another by late spring that will run something bigger than Windows XP, I really do not have any inclination to expose myself to further risks than I am already.
